Ride Around Washington (RAW) 2019 – The lyrics, “From the mountains, to the prairies, …” could have been written about RAW 2019, which will feature mountain climbs with stunning vistas, river gorges, and wonderfully quiet roads through hop fields and vineyards. You don’t have to choose between beer and wine, this tour will offer both! Starting along the Columbia River in Stevenson, we’ll head north to Trout Lake, ride to the base of Mt. Adams, and onwards to Goldendale, Sunnyside and then a final day touring Yakima wine country. For those who don’t like to pack up each morning, we’ll have only four venues over the course of six nights. RAW 2019 will also offer a rest day in Goldendale with optional long and short loop rides for those who prefer to maximize their time in the saddle.

Whether you are a newcomer to RAW or a returning rider, the Velos, Vistas & Vines tour offers a fantastic and unique cycling adventure. The vibe on RAW is relaxed, friendly, and social. It has the feel of summer camp for grownups, while allowing you to enjoy a premier cycle touring experience. Each year we welcome back returning riders along with new guests seeking their next cycling adventure.

RAW is a fully supported bicycle tour with overnight camping accommodations. The tour includes three meals per day; hot showers; daily ride support (snacks, water, and mechanic services); daily luggage transport to and from each overnight camp; and (for a fee) gear and bike transportation to our start in Stevenson and from our finish in Yakima. Along with professional staff, the tour experience is designed and supported by Cascade Bicycle Club volunteers, fellow cyclists dedicated to sharing a love of cycling in Washington state with our guests.
